Hire this company!  He definitely is a consultant and walks you through your options and doesn't run up the bill for his financial gain.  I hired him for a small subdivision fire plan as required by Elpaso County.  Midway through the process, we had to cancel the subdivision.  This company adjusted our financial burden to hours worked so we did not incur more costs for a failed subdivision process.  We appreciate their kindness, professionalism and generosity. I had a fantastic experience with Mike, who came out to evaluate the health of the trees on my property. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to thoroughly inspect each tree, explaining his observations in a way that was easy to understand. I am grateful for how educational the visit was—he taught me what signs to look for when it comes to beetle infestations, including subtle bark changes and boring holes, and gave me practical advice on general tree maintenance to keep everything thriving. I called Michael B. @ PPF&C to investigate a damaged PIV valve on our building's fire sprinkler system. He came to the site to investigate and was very thorough in explaining what my options were. He then came back the next day to attempt to exercise the gate valve and free it up. Luckily this worked and then he didn't charge me even a dollar for his time since the fix was so quick! It is difficult to find any tech's to work on fire equipment in Colorado Springs, let alone someone who is this experienced and customer service  oriented. I have worked with Michael Bukowski, the owner of Pikes Peak Forestry & Construction, since 2019 when he helped me by clearing 5 ft drifts in my driveway (Black Forest) while I was incapacitated with a broken foot. Since then he has resurfaced my rock driveway a number of times, his concrete crew just built two beautiful retainer walls, and recently added some large boulders and gate posts to our landscaping. Michael is an honest and hard worker and is well respected by all the crews that work for him.  When I call him for a job I need  done right, he is quick to respond. I had about 60+ small piles of slash that I had been accumulating over the past couple of years. The toughest problem when doing wildfire mitigation is eventually getting rid of the tree limbs and logs from the trees that you have cut down. Thankfully I found Pike’s Peak Forestry and Construction. They came in with their skid steer-mounted macerator and turned those brush piles into small pieces of debris. This company is amazing! They performed a fire mitigation on our property through CUSP. The workers were all polite and very professional. They stopped to ask questions about the trees they were cutting and I was so pleased with the work they did. They cleaned up the areas and made sure the logs were placed where people were able to get to them to cut up. Michael was so considerate. It was truly a great experience having them out here.
